Pricing
Portal data access and Cloud compute are billed separately. No compute units, credits, or egress fees.

Portal billing is not live yet. We are sharing the plans and the mechanics behind them early so you can plan ahead.
No API key needed

Plans step up by max backfill throughput, monthly data allowance and included chains, at one flat monthly price with no Portal data overage charges. Starter has one chain, Growth up to five, and Enterprise has no maximum. A chain is a whole ecosystem like Ethereum and includes every associated dataset we publish for it.

Public needs no API key and works with curl or the typed SDK across every chain, rate-limited. Testing adds an API key with more backfill throughput and data on one selected chain. Both free plans are for development and evaluation; commercial production use starts with Starter.
Every chain sits in one of three tiers by how we run and price it. The tier sets the per-chain price when Growth adds chains beyond its three included, up to five total.
The chains most teams build on: Ethereum, Solana, Base and the major L1s and L2s.
Networks whose teams fund the integration.
Newer networks and custom VMs, each with its own integration.
Growth can add up to two extra chains, priced by network tier: Partner networks fund their own integration, Core covers high-demand mainnets, and Frontier starts at $300. Starter and Growth can also add full-speed data for months that need more.

Enterprise
Use Enterprise for more than five chains, sustained usage above 1 TB, broad Frontier coverage, specialized replica data, trace-heavy workloads, or large historical backfills. Ten chains are included, alongside dedicated infrastructure, a signed uptime SLA and a named team.
Portal has two free plans (Public and Testing), then Starter at $99/mo and Growth at $499/mo, with custom Enterprise pricing. Paid plans have a flat monthly price, data extensions for months that need more, and no overage charges or hard cutoffs. Portal data access and Cloud compute are separate billing items. There are no compute units, credits, or egress fees.
Not yet. We published the plans and the mechanics behind them ahead of launch so you can plan ahead. Until billing goes live, the Public Portal keeps its current limits, and paid plans are available today through early access. When billing starts, every account gets 14 days' notice.
Yes, two. Public needs no API key and is for exploration, prototyping and AI agents. Testing adds an API key, more backfill throughput and roughly 1 GB of monthly data on one selected chain. Both are for development and evaluation; commercial production use starts with Starter.
Your plan sets max backfill throughput, the monthly data allowance and the number of included chains. Starter is limited to one chain. Growth includes three and can add two more, priced by Partner, Core or Frontier tier. More than five chains requires Enterprise, which includes ten. Starter and Growth can add monthly data without changing plans. Latency is not a paid upgrade: where a chain has real-time data, every plan gets it.
A chain is one canonical ecosystem, like Ethereum, Base or Solana, not a single network or dataset. Its associated mainnets, testnets, dataset versions and data types count as one chain. Starter includes one chain with no additions. Growth includes three and has a maximum of five. Enterprise includes ten and has no maximum.
No. We do not charge separate egress or data-transfer fees on Portal or Cloud.
Production uptime SLAs and a dedicated account manager come with Enterprise. Paid self-serve plans include email support on Starter and priority support on Growth, on a best-effort basis.
Yes. The 30-day trial uses the normal Growth limits: 400 GB of monthly data, max backfill throughput of 20 MB/s, and three selected chains. Enterprise trials are arranged with our sales team.
Nothing shuts off. Real-time access continues on chains that have it, and backfill throughput is rate-limited for the rest of the month, resetting with the next one. To stay at full speed, add a data extension: 250 GB for $99 on Starter or Growth, or 600 GB for $199 on Growth. You add extensions yourself; nothing is charged automatically.
Enterprise is required above five chains. It is also designed for broad Frontier coverage, trace-heavy or specialized replica datasets, large historical backfills, dedicated capacity, signed SLAs, or custom support. If usage stays above 1 TB a month, we review the workload with you rather than changing your plan automatically. It includes ten chains and has no maximum; additional chain pricing is set in the contract.
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade as your backfill, data and chain needs change. Starter is the single-chain production plan, Growth supports up to five chains, and larger or operationally complex workloads move to Enterprise.
