What's Changing
From this week, every SQD product, doc, and surface lives under sqd.dev.
The old map → the new one:
- sqd.ai → primary product home now lives at sqd.dev (sqd.ai still works and redirects across)
- app.subsquid.io → cloud.sqd.dev
- network.subsquid.io → network.sqd.dev
- docs.sqd.ai → docs.sqd.dev
- @subsquid.io email → @sqd.dev
All old URLs redirect, and email to @subsquid.io forwards. Existing bookmarks, integrations, and contacts keep working.
Active email domains: @sqd.dev, @sqd.ai and @subsquid.io. All are valid; emails from either domain are legitimate SQD communications.
What This Isn't
This isn't us moving away from AI. sqd.ai isn't going anywhere - it remains part of the SQD family of domains and continues to point people toward what we're building.
AI agents using Portal for blockchain data are one of our fastest-growing user segments, up roughly 200% in recent weeks. We're now seeing days where the number of agents hitting our docs is almost level with the number of humans. sqd.ai still exists and redirects to sqd.dev.
If anything, we're doubling down: our goal is to become the AI-native data layer for blockchain, the default place agents go for onchain data. The domain change is about consolidation, not direction.

This isn't a rebrand. SQD is SQD. The logo, the product, the team - all unchanged.
Why We're Doing This
Three reasons:
1. Impersonators. With multiple legitimate domains in circulation, bad actors had cover to spoof variations - fake sites, phishing emails, lookalike handles in our community channels.
2. Confusion. Customers and partners couldn't always tell which URL was the real one.
3. Focus. We made a decision earlier this year to go deep on serving enterprise customers. That kind of work demands one canonical home, and one place people can find everything we're building.
What You Need To Do
Nothing. Redirects and email forwarding handle the transition.
What's next
Heads-down on what matters: shipping Portal and Revenue Pools as enterprise-grade infrastructure, expanding chain coverage, and building the trust layer that lets serious products run onchain.
